[X]position: Call for Abstracts

Deadline: April 13 2018

[X]position is the journal which accompanies Let’s Talk About [X], the multidisciplinary conference for University of Glasgow undergraduate students which ran last month. It showcases the fantastic research that is being carried out by undergraduate students at the University of Glasgow and gives the rare opportunity to have this research published in a peer-reviewed academic journal.

We are looking for submissions of interest in writing for the journal.

To be considered as an author, simply submit a short abstract detailing what your research found, written in such a way that non-specialists would be interested.

For successful applicants, this will then form the basis of your article, where you will write 2000-4000 words about what you’ve found and why your research matters. You will be guided through the process by our team of PhD students, ensuring that your article is both informative and interesting to a wide audience.

Check out our guidance on writing abstracts before you submit to increase impact and give yourself a better chance of being selected.

In the past, we have had articles written about a variety of topics, ranging from using citizen science to investigate biodiversity and gender in cyberspace to surging glaciers and a new treatment for multiple sclerosis.

2018 will be bigger and better, and we look forward to your submissions!
